Dell Latitude 7280 Business Laptop – VPH6R (12.5″ HD, Intel Core i7 -7300U 2.60GHz, 16GB DDR4, 256GB SSD, Windows 10 Pro 64)
Dell latitude 7280 refurbished laptop Product description. This Latitude under our Computing category has a smaller footprint and is both lighter and thinner than any of its direct predecessors. All of this has happened while tactfully preserving the majority of the characteristics that make a business PC unique: a discrete, understated case design, flexible networking options, and a functionality over form mindset. An Intel Core i7-7600U processor, 16GB of DDR4-2400 RAM, a 256 GB M.2 SSD, and a 1080p IPS anti-glare display are all included in our Latitude 7280 review model. Our configuration would cost around ksh 36000 with these characteristics. Let’s see if it can hold up to its pedigree and justify that price tag through our stringent battery of tests, benchmarks, and close examination.

Dell latitude 7280 Detailed Features
Display: The Dell Refurbised laptop has 1920×1080 (Full HD) resolution, anti-glare IPS screen used in our Latitude refurbished laptop 7280’s display is fairly similar to that used in earlier generations. Colors look to be washed-out and duller than those of more consumer-grade versions, including the Razer Blade Stealth and Dell XPS 13, even if brightness and contrast appear to be more than enough. However, the majority of business computers experience the same destiny, so this is hardly an exception. With a PPI of 176, the resolution is very suitable for the panel size and offers sufficient crispness.
The performance: General system performance of this refurbished laptop is just as good: with scores of 4957 and 4662 in PCMark 8 Work and Creative, respectively, our synthetic benchmarks certainly indicate a nimble machine. These scores are even higher than the HP EliteBook (albeit, only slightly), which packs a Samsung NVMe SSD (a PM951). Subjectively, we certainly feel the same way: the Latitude 7280 is fast to do just about everything: boot, launch applications, sleep, and resume.
Connectivity and Ports: Whatever way you look at it, the Latitude 7280 refurbished laptop has slipped a little bit behind its predecessor in terms of connection. There are now just two full-sized USB 3.0 Type A ports left, however one USB Type-C Gen 2 / Thunderbolt port fills in for the other. However, the mini-DisplayPort is also missing, maybe because it was thought unnecessary in light of the new Thunderbolt connector and the existing HDMI port (which remains). The MicroSD card reader has also been reduced in size, however it is not nearly as functional. The Ethernet adapter has finally migrated to a thinner edge and adopted a bottom flap design.
Graphics: Given its size and power limitations, the Latitude 7280 predictably uses integrated graphics. More specifically, it uses Intel HD Graphics 620, which is the Kaby Lake GPU that replaces Skylake’s Intel HD Graphics 520. The Intel Core i5-7600U, the exact CPU in our test unit, has an HD Graphics 620 GPU clock rate that ranges from 300 to 1150 MHz.
