Cisco RV042G Dual Gigabit WAN VPN Router

There are four Gigabit Ethernet ports, one Internet port, and one DMZ Internet port on the Cisco RV042G Dual Gigabit WAN VPN Router. The Internet port is an RJ-45 port used to connect the router to the Internet, while the four Gigabit Ethernet ports can handle data transfer speeds of up to 800 Mbps. Additionally situated on the router’s back is the DMZ/Internet port, which adds another degree of security to a LAN by limiting an outside attacker’s access to DMZ equipment.
