If you are like me, You want to know the difference between the Redmi Note 9 Series. That is Redmi Note 9 Pro vs Redmi Note 9 vs Redmi  Note 9s. SO we went ahead and did the research and here is our finding.

Design

Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro has a better overall design than the Note 9 series. Both Redmi Note 9 Pro and Note 9s have a glass front (gorilla glass 5), glass back (gorilla glass 5), plastic frame as opposed to Note 9, which has only gorilla glass 5 front with a plastic frame, plastic back. 

Another difference is the fingerprint sensor position. Both Note 9s and 9 Pro Fingerprint sensors are side-mounted. This gives them a cleaner better look than Redmi Note 9, with its fingerprint back position. 

 

Camera.

When it comes to Redmi Note 9 series Camera specs, Note 9 Pro is better than both Redmi Note 9s and Note 9. Xiaomi Note 9 Pro boasts a better 64 MP main sensor, an ultrawide lens with an 8 MP resolution, a 5 MP macro camera, and a 2 MP depth sensor. Note 9s has the same secondary sensors, but the main lens is an inferior 48 MP sensor. Instead of the 5MP, Note 9 has a 2MP macro. The front camera is the same as well, with a 16 MP resolution. 

Processor Chipset & Specs.

Redmi Note 9s and Note 9 Pro offer more premium hardware specs than Xiaomi note 9. Both have Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G processor chipset which is preferred over the Helio G85 found in Redmi Note 9. 

 In Kenya, Note 9 Series has the same Internal storage of 64GB and 128GB. In other markets Xiaomi Note 9 Pro storage has a 256GB variant. When it comes to the memory, Redmi Note 9 Pro leads with 6GB Ram followed by Note 9s with a 4GB and 6GB variant.  Redmi Note 9 packs a 3GB and 4GB variants.  

All the Redmi Note 9 Series runs on Android 10, MIUI 11, or 12.

Battery.

Though all the phones have a  Li-Po 5020 mAh, non-removable battery. Expect Redmi Note 9 Pro and 9s to last long due to the efficient processor chipset. Redmi Note 9 Pro ranks best with its 30W fast charging. That’s a whopping 65% charge in 30min

With Note 9W reverse charging, it can be used as a power bank. Which might come in handy. Both Note 9 and Note 9s have a fast charging of 18W.
